SafetyNET TTJ Brake Inspection
Description
The students will be able to identify, demonstrate the operation, measure and test braking system components, provide diagnosis and advise repairs. We explain proper tool handling & set up procedures, as students complete a brake inspection and measure brake components demonstrating all safe working procedures & guidelines. Students complete over 5 periods. The occupational health and safety regulations and standards, Demonstrate professional work practices and procedures, Location and duties to braking system components, Knowledge of safety precautions associated with the braking system, Demonstrate the correct way to handle and measure with micrometers, dial gauges & vernier calipers.
