SafetyNET TPJ Healthy Food and Environment
Description
This SafetyNET exemplar was co-written with Merlin Melchers. TPJ3M - This unit is all about learning healthy, preventative and safe behaviours and assessing human living environments as they pertain to the health care curriculum. See also overall and specific expectations listed below. It focuses on good nutrition and exercise as essential to having a healthy lifestyle. It requires attached handouts and teaching materials, BP cuff, stethoscope, food supplies to prepare the recipe, and hospitality lab equipment, applied in the TPJ setting. The scope of the project is applicable for both full-time and night school - 28, part-time students - 25. A massive amount of video links have been provided in the instructional strategies section.
