SafetyNET TEJ Making Ethernet Cables
Description
TEJ3M1 - Students are provided with instruction before breaking off into small groups (or individually) to complete hands-on task. Class usually holds up to 24 students. Students will assemble straight-thru and crossover cables used in Local Area Networks. While doing this they will demonstrate adherence to standards, quality control, and testing procedures. This lesson usually takes 2, 70 minute periods, but can be extended for IEP's or gifted enhancement as part of a school repairs project.
