Skills Ontario Competition Cabinetmaking - Call for Judges
CABINETMAKING - Call for Judges
The Cabinetmaking competition at the Skills Ontario Competition is looking for volunteer judges.
Judges spend the day observing secondary school and college level students as they build a small project. The project is made of solid hardwood, matching plywood, and includes some small pieces of hardware. Although judges keep an eye on safety at all times, they do not assist the students in making the projects. Some of the joints in the project are marked as the competition progresses, but most judging takes place once the competition is over. The projects are judged in parts by a group of judges, so no one judge has a large impact on a specific project.
