OCTE Fall Leadership and Pathways Conference
Registration for our 4th Annual OCTE Fall Conference, taking place Wednesday October 2nd, to Friday October 4th, 2019 at the Conference Centre at Fern Resort in Orillia (4432 Fern Resort Road, Ramara, ON L3V 0L1) will be opening next Monday June 3rd!
Starting Monday, the registration site will be sent only to Technological Education and Specialist High Skills Major Board Leads in order to give you an opportunity to invite the specific group of teachers that you would like to attend. This can be done by requesting a coupon code from Christine German at octeofficeadmin@octe.ca to be invoiced for the registration cost OR your group can register by credit card directly through the site. Depending on the interest, we will move forward with a Phase II registration open to the entire OCTE Membership prior to the end of June. Please note that you will no longer be able to book rooms at Fern without a Booking Confirmation number

Registration Costs:
Cost for the Conference, which now includes your Meals (NEW this year) is $398.00 plus HST. This price includes Thursday and Friday Lunch and Wednesday and Thursday Dinners. This amount may seem much higher than last year, but the room rates have now decreased based on incorporating the meal price into the registration cost. The overall amount is the same as last year or a little bit lower to attend. This will allow those who are not staying at Fern Resort to not have to call and book a Day Pass for your meals.

Once Delegates have registered online for the 2019 OCTE Fall Conference, they will immediately receive a Conference Registration Confirmation email including a Fern Booking code. Delegates can then book online or call Fern to book. Each room must be booked with a delegate’s name and paid in full. Rooms will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. School boards cannot hold large blocks of rooms without payment and there will be no direct billing.

Double Occupancy 80.00 per night plus 18% service fee and HST (Includes Breakfast at Fern)
Single Occupancy 120.00 per night plus 18% service fee and HST (Includes Breakfast at Fern).
Please try to maximize the number of people per room to allow as many people to attend the conference as possible.
