Design2Think Student Architectural Design Workshop!


DESIGN2THINK &  Sci-Arc [The Southern California Institute of Architecture] are hosting an Architectural & Design workshop for students across all school boards of Ontario. This workshop will explore the boundless possibilities of Design & Architecture. Students will collaborate with SciArc professors during the 5 day workshop taking place every Saturday to delve into design projects and architectectural design. Receive academic guidance, professor insights, and experience guest lectures from professionals in the industry.


  • Students curious about the world of design and architecture can work alongside educators from the Southern California Institute of Architecture, “top 5 architecture & design university in the world.”

  • Students will gain exposure to critical softwares used in practice, get hands-on experience with 3D and physical modelling, and explore design projects in a stimulating environment. Students will have the chance to receive lectures from and interact with professionals in the industry from local Ontario based universities and SCI-Arc. 

  • Design2Think offers additional opportunities for students looking to advance their work through portfolio reviews and one on one design mentorship. 

  • Students will receive a signed certificate of completion for their portfolio. This tremendous opportunity will allow students to further develop their skills in design & architecture and build strong postsecondary connections.

  • Administered fully over Zoom, the workshop is held every Saturday from April 17th, 2020 to May 15th, 2021 from 11am - 4pm. Material packages will be sent out to students for hands on model making. Total fees for the workshop are $369.00 CAD. Students will be provided with the required software  to participate.
