Career Ready with CTMA: RFQ for Manufacturing Equipment Purchase

Dear Manufacturing Technology Equipment Distributors,

This e-mail is a courtesy invitation to respond to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Canadian Tooling & Machining Association (CTMA) for the purchase of capital equipment for the “Career-Ready with CTMA: Expanding Opportunities” program (“the project”).  The project is being funded in-part by Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD) through the Skills Development Fund.  It is designed to help close the skilled trades gap that exists in the Machine, Tool, Die & Mould (MTDM) sector; a sector that serves many industries including, but not limited to, automotive, aerospace, packaging, medical, energy military defense and others.

This portion of the project includes a partnership between the CTMA, the Ontario Council for Technology Education (OCTE), and the following six (6) School Boards: Greater Essex County District School Board, Halton District School Board, Hamilton Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Upper Grand District School Board, Waterloo Catholic District School Board and York Region District School Board.

The RFQ was posted on www.biddingo.com by the Greater Essex County District School Board on behalf of CTMA; the timelines are listed below.
